Opening of the Eurologos-Shanghai Office |
The skyline of Shanghai, the hypermodern skyscrapers took our breath away : one would believe to be in New York or in Chicago… Amongst these futuristic buildings of a totally vertical megalopolis, our office is located in Anken Warehouse (a very big business center in the city) : we are particularly happy of this.
Eurologos from now on is installed in the Chinese economic capital
This is why we do not fear chinese competitivity : it constitutes an example of Eurologos competitivity. Every Eurologos office worldwide incarnates our competitivity. Strength and unicity! Every one of our offices « relocalizes » the production of spoken language in the country where it is situated. There is nothing better !

Three components of the team of Eurologos-Shanghai in the foreground with the person in charge of Eurologos-Milan at the origin of the new installation.
It is for this reason that we state positively that the linguistic quality of foreign language production can only be achieved by having the same amount of operational offices as the amount of languages to realize and deliver to the client.
And we still wonder how all the « letter boxes », we mean 99,3% of our competitors, all monolocalized in one country, can ensure their customers of the geostylistic and quality of their multilingual texts: how can they revise and validate texts if they do not have the availability of, of course, (for example) a local chinese office employing translators, revisors, terminologists, computer graphic designers, web masters all of mother tongue.
After translating, one must validate the texts and web sites : all the aforementioned localization procedure, language per language!
A chinese office well « glocalized »
The building up of this office took place during a couple of years by our Eurologos Milano agency, one of the biggest users of chinese translations of the Group (amongst others for Costa Crociere, the italian ship owner for cruises). We started by utilizing a tandem of two chinese translators (transposition and revision to follow with the installation of a truly internal
|

team of marketeers, and one English speaking translator, already resident of Shanghai since many years (and speaking perfect chinese).
The exceptional two digit expansion of the chinese market and in particular Shanghai, authorizes very optimal budget estimates for this office, constituted of young people in their thirties.
All our offices celebrated this chinese opening which ensures all our Eurologos clients on four continents editing and translation to and from the chinese language with irreprochable quality and unbeatable deadlines : we utilize, for the american and european offices, the advantages of time lag.
So, Eurologos relishes on the availability in Shanghai of a well « glocalized » office (globalized and localized simultaneously) :

Eurologos-Trieste translates for Vestas, No. 1 in Modern Energy (continued from front page)
Wind turbines? In need of translation!

|
Communication in italian
Vestas is an avant-garde customer (wind energy is modern energy by all means, which role will grow and grow as we witness the decline in energetic resources) who chose to entrust Eurologos-Trieste the task of managing its own communication in Italian. Collaboration is based furthermore on a precious

synergy with the persons responsible of marketing and communication of Vestas who work at the local Vestas site of Taranto. With the competence and constant zeal of Eurologos-Trieste, they enable the realization, often in the nick of time, of a product

at the very top level of the Vestas slogan : No. 1 in Modern Energy.
