Eurologos-Madrid is ready for double certification, EN-15038 and ISO 9001

After Eurologos-Genova, other Group offices will obtain certification

Thanks to the EUATC (European Union of Associations of Translation Companies) initiative
In May 2006, after three years of joint efforts, the European EN-15038 standard governing the supply of translation services was finally approved.  This standard may be considered an immense archive in the European sector of translation services, which should serve to enhance its position as a generator of strategic added value. As well, the reality of different translation markets differs notably from country to country and the constitution
of a shared structure, valid for multinational organizations such as Eurologos and its microagencies, requires much talent for negotiation. The result is a very general text, rarely open to interpretation, but which institutes processes and resources that are not up for discussion, with regard to the supply of quality services.

ISO 9001 for Eurologos-Madrid after the summer holidays

Now that the standard is binding, language service organizations will have to prove that they fulfill its requirements if they want to be considered for the awarding of bids from European Institutions.

The logical step is to certify company processes according to the standards. Eurologos-Madrid wants to be the first Eurologos office to have the services they provide to their clients EN-15038 certified. The preparation work to obtain both the EN-15038 and the more general ISO 9001 certifications has already started. The EN-15038 is scheduled to be obtained by April 2008, while ISO 9001 will follow shortly after the summer break.

The revenue of this group was €58,000,000 in 2001, and it employs 450 workers. It is based in northern France and it acts at a national level as well as throughout Europe and the rest of the world. With more than 15 years of recognized experience and know-how, Holding D has asserted itself as a real industrial partner.

Its philosophy: “Satisfying customers. Our experience serves your success.”
Eurologos-Paris fully shares this philosophy of “satisfying customers”. Thanks to 30 years of experience in our own Group, it was easy for us to use our linguistic expertise to serve Ger2i Ensemblier, in order to meet its linguistic requirements while remaining in perfect harmony with the quality such an important holding deserves.
