Eurologos-Paris translations for the French motorway federation

Relationship with European directives

ASFA carries out constructive “lobbying” with French and European policy makers and professional organizations.
(continued from front page)

  • ASFA ensures an active watch over all statutory or legal initiatives in the sector.
  • It also participates on a permanent basis in European legal dossiers, such as the so-called “Inoperability of Teletolls” and  “Eurovignette” Directives. It actively supports the endeavours of the European federation ASECAP and regularly works alongside the European Commission and the European Parliament, particularly in the development of new information technologies for motorway safety and traffic.

  • ASFA takes part in major international conferences where it promotes the action of motorway companies and its specificities.

The Eurologos-Paris partnership
Eurologos-Paris participates in this global context, providing ASFA with the translation of new European directives concerning the transport sector. Moreover, Eurologos is responsible for the translation of proposals, observations and specific recommendations stemming from ASFA, for the attention of the European Commission.

Oticon Spain : something for the kids, too

Why did Oticon in Spain contact Eurologos-Madrid? (continued from front page)
Company image was the key. Oticon Spain was in the market for guaranteed translation services to meet their translation needs and they turned to the Internet to help them. We were contacted because of our webpage offered the professional services Oticon was

looking for. Then came the human contact. Price budgets proposed, delivery deadlines set and most importantly, the appropriate localization style and results.Since early March of this year, in collaboration with Oticon Spain, Eurologos-Madrid

has translated more than 85,000 words. And the future is very expectant, since there is still a lot of work to be done. Oticon international can be found at www.oticon.com and some our work for Oticon Spain at www.oticon.es.
