But who really invented writing?

Aratta, the civilisation that invented writing

A discovery in Iran could change history

Excavation works in Iran has uncovered a series of tablets originating from before the Sumerian era (Mesopotamia, 4th century B.C.): they come from a civilization called Aratta, located in Iran and especially appreciated by the Sumerians themselves. Sumerians are currently thought to be the inventors of (cuneiform) writing.

Eurologos-Genoa: a very “wet” summer

Partnership with a shipyard

Ever closer collaboration with San Giorgio shipyards

The Genoa harbor never gets a break. Its activities never stop, with ship repair constituting a strategic sector.

The “Officine Meccaniche San Giorgio del Porto” is one of the most important Geneva shipyards, operating on an international level. Founded in 1928, they repair and remodel over 100 ships every year,

showing a very high level of specialization and professionalism.

Eurologos’ ISO experience at the service of globalized activities.

The partnership between Eurologos and San Giorgio del Porto has been very close for a number of years. For example, the translations cover very diverse areas, ranging from certificates for the Chamber of Commerce in order to complete bids on the international market, to specifications for ship

repairs. In August 2007, Eurologos-Genoa also contributed with its own ISO 9000 certification to the procedures necessary for the proper management of workflow – even during the vacation period, withstanding the sweltering August heat.
