The 2005 International Conference in the European capital
On 25 November 2005, the annual EUATC (European Union of Associations of Translation Companies) Conference was held in Brussels. More than 180 professionals (translators, linguists and agency bosses) from some fifteen European countries gathered at the Residence Palace for a day of presentations focused on the future of the European translation industry. More than eight speakers delivered presentations on various aspects of the market: from marketing strategy to the quantitative dimension, and from the issue of linguistic quality to applied language technologies.

These entirely relevant themes, of crucial importance, were very well handled.
The BQTA and the participation of four Eurologos linguists
The EUATC is the European professional organization representing each of the national associations from EU Member States.
In Belgium, the country organizing the event, the national association is the BQTA (Belgian Quality Translation Association), with Eurologos being one of its founder members, and is currently chaired by Fernand Boucau, head of Telelingua SA.
Four Eurologos linguists participated in the conference.
