Hot or cold, Mitsubishi chooses Eurologos–Milan

MITSUBISHI air-conditioning units in Italian

Pre and after-sale service
The Air-Conditioning Division of Mitsubishi Electric Europe’s Italian subsidiary this year again chose Eurologos–Milan for the translation of its technical manuals and its product sheets.
The Italian subsidiary, which has its office in Agrate Brianza (Milan), has always been in close contact with the factories based in Japan, Thailand and northern Europe, and with the other European offices. It affords its clients a very wide range of technologically advanced solutions for air-conditioning units and their distribution in the countries on the Eastern shores of the Mediterranean.
A very high-level organization structure guarantees every user the maximum accessibility to Mitsubishi’s sophisticated air-conditioning systems, while ensuring the best possible pre-sale and after-sale service.

The company’s technolect
Eurologos–Milan recently managed the translation from English to Italian of the “Product Guide 2005”. The project manager, together with the team of translators and revisers working exclusively on the Mitsubishi files, completed the project evaluation and analysis of the text. The translation into Italian, revision by a second, “twin” translator and the final checks on the linguistic quality of the terms used (the work of the terminologists, aided by a computerized translation system) were the stages of a thorough procedure that ensured full respect for the company’s technolect.
Whether it’s hot or cold outside, the quality of Mitsubishi Electric air-conditioning units is checked by Eurologos–Milan.

Another successful EUATC conference

“The European translation industry: facing the future”

The 2005 International Conference in the European capital
On 25 November 2005, the annual EUATC (European Union of Associations of Translation Companies) Conference was held in Brussels. More than 180 professionals (translators, linguists and agency bosses) from some fifteen European countries gathered at the Residence Palace for a day of presentations focused on the future of the European translation industry. More than eight speakers delivered presentations on various aspects of the market: from marketing strategy to the quantitative dimension, and from the issue of linguistic quality to applied language technologies.

These entirely relevant themes, of crucial importance, were very well handled.

The BQTA and the participation of four Eurologos linguists

The EUATC is the European professional organization representing each of the national associations from EU Member States.
In Belgium, the country organizing the event, the national association is the BQTA (Belgian Quality Translation Association), with Eurologos being one of its founder members, and is currently chaired by Fernand Boucau, head of Telelingua SA. Four Eurologos linguists participated in the conference.
