Translation from french into russian
Reading this website, even at a superficial level, will have given you an insight into the art of good translation. And so, you have just discovered many professional “secrets” and, in many cases, a hitherto unimagined complexity.
And yet, we have tried to simplify the traductological principles of transposition, adaptation and multilingual localization, thus rendering them more easily accessible to the general public.
Attaining quality in translation is not as simple as it may seem: in-depth knowledge of the source language, mastery of the target language, terminological precision requiring the use of translation memories and, finally, the restoration of the style or geo-style are all needed.
What is the solution to all these problems?
At Eurologos, the solution is each one of our operational offices located throughout the world.
Layout and DTP for from russian
The layout of a document in a “rare” language (Bulgarian, for example), cannot do without a final check, both linguistically and graphically.Otherwise, say “hello” to the possibility of muddling the aesthetics and the risk of confusion in badly laid-out texts.
How to really solve these problems?
At Eurologos, we simply have these layouts and their graphic design validated by one of our truly “glocalized” offices: that is to say, offices that are global with regard to their multinational dimensions, and truly local as they are situated in the country where the target language is spoken (Bulgarian in this example).
Multilingual websites (including russian)
Market globalization renders multilingual websites a necessity.A language for each target market: there are often even two geo-styles per language (e.g., Iberian and Brazilian Portuguese).
At Eurologos, we not only design, develop and adapt technologically-advanced websites (CSM, PHP and Web 2.0), we also localize them in very rare languages (like Arabic and Hebrew) and in ideograms (like Chinese or Japanese).
There are more than ten Eurologos offices spread over four continents!
