From the collection of data to the policy of their deactivation
Eurologos monitors the protection of your confidentiality as private users. We are able to understand your need to control your personal data when you use the Internet. This declaration explains the following points:

1. The information we collect
2. How we use that information
3. Who we share that information with
4. How you can take part in or opt out of the collection and use of data
5. Our policy on the modification and updating of identifiable information as being confidential
6. Our policy on the deletion or deactivation of your name in our database

The information we collect
We collect and store all or part of the user-information hereafter: name, e-mail address and invoice information, such as addresses and phone numbers. We also receive and store certain types of information when you interact with us. For example, like many other websites, we use “cookies” and we obtain certain types of information when your web navigator accesses www.eurologos.com. Additional information on our use of cookies is provided hereafter.

In order to adapt our future communications with you and to continually improve our services (including registration) we may also be brought to ask you to provide us with information concerning your personal and professional interests, the experience you have had with our services and more detailed contact information. The clients and web-users always have the freedom to choose whether or not to provide this information.

Use of the data
Eurologos uses the information you provide to better understand your needs and offer you the best possible service. We mainly use the information to help you carry out transactions, including execution of orders and promotional offers, to communicate with you in order to inform you about the services and products, to personalize our websites, and to manage and renew your memberships. Credit card numbers are only used for treating payments and to protect against fraud; they aren’t used for any other reasons without your permission.

Use of your e-mail address
If you provide us with your e-mail address when subscribing we may occasionally send you e-mail containing recommendations of our new services, rates and promotions. This e-mail may include advertising paid for by a third party. When you subscribe, you can decide if you want to choose this service or not. If initially, you don’t make a choice regarding this option, you will always be able to block this type of e-mail in the future: you will only have to follow the information for unsubscription that accompanies such communications.

Furthermore, we send service notifications by e-mail to keep you informed of the status of your service orders. These messages are essential to the functionality of our services. This is why it is impossible for you not to select this services option and why these messages cannot be blocked.

We follow the best e-mail marketing and client contact practices, and we strongly advise the people with whom we work with do the same. For more information on our methodology, please go to Eurologos anti-spam policy.

Special relations
Eurologos keeps up a certain number of relationships with external collaborators with whom it might share your personal information in order to provide you with a service, carry out an order or transaction. For example, we use some service providers for credit card or cheque transaction services. These providers check your purchasing information, such as credit card numbers or bank account numbers, then authorize your transaction. They therefore have access to the user database, but they are not allowed to use this information for any other reason whatsoever.

Links
Our site includes links to other websites. Please note that when you click on one of these links, you are “clicking” to another website. Insofar as Eurologos does not assume responsibility for the misuse of information by a web moderator with whom we may have a link, we strongly encourage you to read the confidentiality agreements of these linked sites, because these confidentiality agreements could differ from ours.

If you choose to benefit from an offer from one of our external collaborators, you will provide the information directly to the external collaborators. We strongly encourage you to read the confidentiality agreements of these linked sites, because these confidentiality agreements could differ from ours.

Eurologos uses information labels called “cookies” which identify clients when they visit our site. These cookies are used to store the users’ preferences and maximize the performance of our services. Furthermore, the cookies help us identify the web surfers who are returning to our site, so we can avoid asking them to enter their e-mail and password anew, on each of their visits. The information we collect through the cookies are neither sold nor let, nor shared with third parties. We also ask you to enter your name, surname and/or e-mail address in the appropriate field, in order for our client service to identify and help you in case of a problem. We cannot provide an efficient service to clients who do not give their consent for the treatment of data with cookies or via web browsers configured to reject all cookies.

We can also use third-party advertising agencies to service advertisements on our site. These companies may use cookies and action labels (also known as single-pixel gifs or web beacon) to measure the efficaciousness of an advertisement. The information collected by these third parties via cookies and action labels are not personal and are anonymous.
